Carlo Ghio

born in Genova on 19/10/76, he is the older in the band, and the founder too; he started playing guitar in 1993 and owns a Fender Telecaster, a Yamaha FG430 acoustic and a Martin/Sigma DR-12-28H 12 strings. He started as rhythm guitarist, but soon he had to become a "polystrumentist": guitars, bass, keyboards, harmonica, and the leading vocalist of the band too; he has also written all the songs of the first album. He is very fond of  Pink Floyd and of all the progressive music of the 70s (Genesis, King Crimson, Yes, Van der Graaf Generator, Jethro Tull, PFM), enjoying the new prog bands of the 90s too, like Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree; his guitaristic style is tipically blues, because he started playing guitar over Clapton, Dylan and Bennato's CDs. He attends the third year of Mechanical Engineering at University of Genova.

Stefano Santovito

born in Genova in '77, he is the last arrived in the band and, strangely, he has never performed live in a Urto Elastico gig; two years ago he left the band for problems with his job and his studies, but now he is "on the road"  again with his drums! He usually plays his Tama acoustic drums, but unfortunately he was obliged to play an electronic Yamaha drum on this first CD that is not the same thing. He is a great  Beatles fan, but, in common with Carlo, he is also very fond of progressive rock of the 70s, in particular Rush, and prog-metal of the 90s, like Dream Theater. Since he has come back in the band only recently he didn't write any song of the "Verso il Duemila" album, except for the lyrics of the 'ghost' track "Canto". He attends the third year of Electric Engineering at University of Genova too.
